Air quality update Q1 2022: Data confirms area air quality is safe

The latest Stellantis quarterly air monitoring update demonstrates that the air quality in the area is safe, according to the monitoring station on the Detroit Assembly Complex – Mack property.

It meets National Ambient Air Quality Standards for Particulate Matter smaller than 2.5 microns (PM2.5) and Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2).

Also, this year’s first ambient air volatile organic compound (VOC) testing was initiated in March and also continues to show that no VOCs are present in the air at a concentration above, or even close to, their respective Michigan Air Toxics Screening Level.
