Detroit Assembly Complex

Operating as the Detroit Assembly Complex (DAC), the new name links our two Detroit facilities — Mack and Jefferson North — under the same umbrella as they will be connected operationally while maintaining their own identities, but also honors and pays tribute to the Company’s long-standing presence in the city.

When completed, the reborn Mack facility will be the first new assembly plant to be built in the city of Detroit in nearly three decades, and join Jefferson — the last new assembly plant built in the city — as the only automotive assembly plants to be located completely within the city limits of Detroit.
