December 22: Letter to the Community

Community Residents:

Stellantis has said that we are taking full responsibility for addressing the concerns that have been raised
about our Mack Assembly Plant. For that reason, we wanted to share an update on our commitment to
fixing the ducting issue.

On Dec. 21, we sent a letter to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy
(EGLE) confirming that we have completed the work – two weeks ahead of schedule – to route ducting in
the paint shop to the emission control system as is required by the permit.

Based on the air quality monitoring data we shared during the Community Benefits Meeting on Dec. 15,
the air around the community is safe.

We look forward to reporting the results of our investigation and mitigation plans related to odor
concerns to EGLE and you no later than Jan. 9.

I want to wish you and your families a very happy and safe holiday season.
